About Me

PhD student with equal passions for cooking food, eating food and p-values. Feels like a match made in heaven to me. I like almost all foods – sweet, savoury, hot, cold, spicy, mild, fragrant, breakfast, brunch, picnics, tapas, Sunday lunch, afternoon tea, British, French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Thai, American, Mexican, the list is basically endless – except aubergines, oysters and anchovies, which are the work of the devil.

I also love blogs. Not exclusively food blogs – I enjoy reading blogs about travel and beauty, and the vaguely-titled “lifestyle” blogs – though unsurprisingly most of my favourites are food based! I think blogs are a lovely way to communicate with like-minded people from all over the world and to find inspiration for your own life and interests. I’ve listed a few of the food blogs that I visit regularly here. I always love discovering new blogs so let me know if you have any particular favourites.

I hope you enjoy reading this blog, and that it inspires you to cook some of these recipes yourself. If you have any feedback or questions then I would love to hear from you in the comments. Thanks for stopping by!
